Digital interpretation plan and online trails for national nature reserves in Kent.
inHeritage authored a digital media interpretation plan for Ham Street, Stodmarsh and Wye Downs National Nature Reserves in Kent on behalf of Natural England. The plan analysed the aims, key messages and target audiences for digital media then gave a detailed and fully costed list of recommendations.
We went on to implement those aspects of the plan chosen by Natural England. This is part of a project to interpret the reserves to new and existing audiences through the ‘Welcome to the Wildside’ project funded by the HLF.
We produced a downloadable PDF self-guided trail with an accompanying children’s activity trail aimed at families, two audio trails, two podscroll trails for 16 – 24 year olds, three downloadable PDF wildlife spotter guides and a series of six podcasts about the wildlife and conservation of the reserves.
