In Summer 2017, the Hadrian’s Cavalry Exhibition in all 10 museums and visitor centres along Hadrian’s Wall told the story of the Roman Cavalry in Britain. The 10-centre exhibition brought together key Roman Cavalry artefacts from across Europe and included reconstruction events and participative days, as well as an especially commissioned exhibition. Georgia edited the exhibition guidebook, which is still available to order from the exhibition website. http://hadrianswallcountry.co.uk/hadrians-cavalry-2017
The Hadrian’s Cavalry project has just been awarded the NorthEast Museum of the Year Award for 2017 in the Northeast Culture Awards. https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/whats-on/arts-culture-news/who-were-winners-journal-culture-14701254
